For starters it is always best to take the medicine prescribed by your Cardiologist. The place I disagree is with the Stantin drugs(cholesterol reducing medicines). My research shows them to do more harm than good. Cardiac patients should take 400 mg of CoQ10 and 500 mg of niacin daily for heart health.
I have stints. The only meds I got for that was for high blood pressure and cholesterol. For what it is worth, I had mine for two years, then got notice that they were recalled! Must have been made by Toyota.
