I need a good quote! (read more)

I want to write a quote on a painting I'm working on (my profile pic; the quote will be written above the tree). I want to give this to my grandfather for Christmas. We don't have a good relationship (if there is even a relationship at all... :/ ) but I've been visiting lately. I want it to be meaningful, preferably something that relates to the tree or life in general (but it doesn't have to be), but I don't want it to be very long. THANK YOU! [= <3

An example of a quote that you could use is "He who plants a tree, plants a hope." You can find many more tree quotes that relate to life online at the quotegarden.com website.
