How can I be more efficient at work?

We are slammed at work and I am working 65 hours a week. I can't get any more work because I am working none stop. I mean, taking lunch breaks and work, so that I can eat while I work, etc. However, my boss is working twice as hard, she literally has been sleeping only 5 hours a night and the rest of the time she spends at work. She is a great boss so I want to help her more but I can't, any ideas?

Somebody needs to learn how to say "no." Whether that is your supervisor or the person ahead of her, but there needs to be some sort of way to slow the flow of expectations from you and your coworkers.

Also, look at the labor laws in your state/province. There are limits as to how many hours you allowed to put in and how you administer breaks.

we follow the labor laws very stricktly when it comes to lunches and breaks, but we just had this big project that we thought we were prepared for and it turns out that we weren't. Is so busy, lately I have been getting dizzy spells, as many as 10 a day, taken they only last for about 2 seconds, but I really don't know how much I can help.

Thanks, I keep thinking one day at a time. I just hate the feeling of going home after working 10 - 12 hours and feel like I accomplished nothing.

I was like you, married to my job! Drove myself to 75 hours a week! Now I am disable. Trust me no job is worth it! Because you are just another number to them, when push comes to shove. Enjoy life! Your family!

this is a family owned company, but I get what you say about working too much. I am already getting dizzy spells. Did your disability had anything to do with your work?
Report as
Yes very much so.

I was talking to my brother and sister about my dizzy spells that occur about 15 times a day. They only last 1 or 2 seconds, but is enough to make my vision blurry, and to make me feel like I will fall down. Also, I told them about this weekend when after a very stressful day at work, me and my girlfriend went to the movies and I got this sharp pain on the left side of my torso. It only lasted for like 10 seconds, but once it passed I felt very nauseus, and I started to freak out because I couldn't breath. That feeling lasted for about a minute. I was very freaked out but I didn't want to cause a scene, so I just whispered my girlfriend's name so that she would know there was something wrong. She started to freak out too.

anyway, my brother and sister were no help, they only achieved to freak me out even more.
