Why does he utilization of nuclear energy, particularly fission remains controversial?

Report as

Nuclear fission is still a controversial subject because it involves uranium production and use. Nuclear fission produces energy not only for nuclear power but also to drive the explosion of nuclear weapons, hence the controversy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_fission has more on this.
