my little goofy brother, I suppose! he goes to bed very early! the little monster will eat anything, he's easy to entertain, he's great at ignoring me, can play by himself for hours, easily amused, he's free, low maintenance (dresses like a slob!!), thinks yes and no are synonyms, and...he's good for a laugh! he even takes baths regularly..on the first day of every month...;-(
Depends on your activity level. If it's high, Dalmations, Great Danes, and Pittbulls are excellent dogs to have, but remember that ALL high-energy dogs need to be repetitively trained!!! The training should never be stopped. If it's medium, a lab, or a retriever are good for that. If you have a low energy, smaller high-energy dogs are easier to deal with in terms of walks because just you walking is like a run for them. larger low-energy dogs are the St. Bernard, Older dogs of any breed, Shar Pei, and any dog that just seems lazier than those of it's breed group.
You may have noticed that the Shar Pei is in both the medium and low lists. This is because they can range from low to medium, as can any dog. ANY high-energy dog can be a low-energy dog, but not all of them will.
