Take a few deep breaths, in with the positive and out with the negative. Now focus on makeing three piles. #1 for donations, goodwill will come and pick it up and give you a reciept for your taxes. #2 A keep pile. #3 A trash pile. It will seam overwellming at times but try and dedicate 2 hrs. a day to it, and don't forget to reward yourself every day!
Gosh I feel for you. I have been in this situation a few times. The dumpster idea is a good idea which we have used. However I recommend finding a service that will haul it all away. Our realtor put us in touch with a junk service. I recommend calling various relators in your area to see if such a service exists. You could also try to hire people to put it in the dumpster and/or offer them a selection of items as a bonus or for services rendered. Hotel housekeepers or bellman might appreciate an odd job on their day off. Good Luck
I know it is very difficult. The thought of cleaning the junk itself would make us crazy but remember and follow these 5 steps. you will definitely be able to clear the junk 1. set small goals, 2.make a plan 3. divide and conquer 4. dont blame yourself and finally stick to it
