Transparent-the hair is made of keratin, absorbing ultraviolet light from the sun. Keratin gives warmth to the skin as well as water repellent & doesn't mat when wet.

The green comes from polar bears in zoos etc. that pick up algae etc. on their fur. It makes the fur appear green because of this.

Look, it is the question for today. Here is the answer; "Even though polar bears look white, their hair is really made of clear, hollow tubes filled with air."
It Is Not Black, White, Or Green. It Is Clear. OKAY??

The skin underneath the fur is black, which is what some people were talking about <3

Depends where on the bear you look. Some places are white, some are brown.

I've had that fun little "bug" before-- I'm always sick, though, damn autoimmune, so I think *you're* the one who needs a "stay well"! I'm traveling to yet another wedding in just a bit... I love all my friends, but can't they space out these big events? Five more to go in under a year -_-;

Really? I'm surprised that I'm the first! I have a complicated underlying condition that has given me terrible asthma and off-the-charts allergies. I visit the hospital at least once a year with either bronchial pneumonia, severe uncontrolled asthmatic reactions, or an upper respiratory infection. Just like clockwork around this time of year ;) I'm staying healthy so far, so whatever rain-dance you're doing for me, keep it up... and I'll do the same for you! Feel better soon <3<3
