What is a cool hands on short activity to do with tween boys?
I run a support group and I am looking for activities to do with my tween boys. We have done: mentos- diet coke experiment to discuss "exploding" if we hold in our feelings, we threw toilet paper at our bad feelings on a paper target.... we made lava lamps, volcanoes, slime, playdoh, snow globes, ice cream, tornado in bottle.... I made a genie in the bottle experiment when discussing what are wishes would be. They love the hands on experiments...especially those with an exciting 'explosion" or something unexpected. I am looking for other activities similar to the ones mentioned above....it would be useful if i could adapt it to meet a therapeutic topic.... please...any advice/exciting activites that can be done in a hospital setting would be appreciated!!!!!!
