Your friends sound so freaking weird... =P
I have never heard of the "stop to show an inch" thing, but through the roof is usually what people say when they see something cool or what they believe to be amazing or unusual.
Say, if someone says "this party is through the roof" I guess it is another way of saying "this party is off the hook" or "Dayum this party kicks a$$!!!!!"

what the bulls are you talkin about? have you asked them? maybe it is like a handshake for them and you just knew bout it? snap and stop usually means a power move or a um move to show they want respect (dont ask) and the other parts i got no clue. like snap and stop is for respect often in movies. and "through the roof" i think means you are cool. (dont ask how i know this) but so basically "power, respect, and popularity" or just a strange handshake. it is all i got but that is some weird stuff. they watch to many movies!

What are you even talking about. Maybe rephrase the question in better form?
