How long does a tick stay engorged for AFTER it let's go of it's host?
Really just a couple of days. The females are the blood suckers, the more blood they steal the more eggs they can produce. Once it's full it basically falls off a finds a nice dark hide spot, she lays her eggs and dies
It depends. But please, remove them from you and your animals as they can pass diseases. Take their heads with some tweezers and pull. It's best to do it fast rather than slow.
