According to an article of a newspaper it is bad for your eyes and brain to play more than two hours of video games every day. Therefore, if you are done all your work (jobs, school work, chores etc.) you should only play for two hours.

it is fine to play video game for 1-3 hour but you should take more interest in outdoor games. playing video games has its own advantage but as usual anything in excess is harmful. Apart of fun and stress-release, video games will increase your focus, hand eye co-ordination, thinking ability etc...so make sure you have enough time left in your day to utilize all these skills.
i think you are not a totally idiot,if you don't study you know what will happen to you. you'll urine your life in future you cant do a job and cant spend money for buy new games or new pc. so 1st you should do your school work/studies then you can play as your don't sacrifice your bed time too.
I say, so long as you're getting all your other responsibilities done, it doesn't really matter how much time you spend playing. If your school work is finished, you're getting enough sleep and exercise, and you're not neglecting your friends and family, go ahead and play. Video games are (typically) only unhealthy when they distract from those things, but if you have the time, you might as well spend it playing, if you want.
