Can two white people have a black child or vice versa?

we have a class arguement about this right now. one person claimed they had heard it was possible and another claimed genetically its possible because you could be holding a recessive gene from 200 ancestors ago. i countered and said if that were so every other generation would be black and the next white. but i also said that africans came first so then why doesn't fully white couple give an afican baby.
the genes don't matter on reccesive or dominate does it? isn't it supposed to be somewhere in the middle? please do not remove this question it is 100 % serious and is not trying to be a racist of any kind

Yes - if there is recessive gene it's very possible.

Yes, it is genetically possible for two white skinned people to have a dark skinned child, or for two dark skinned parents to have a white skinned child. It all depends on what type of gene run through each parent.

Yes, it is possible. This only occurs when the genomic composition of the parents' melanin (responsible for pigment) are both dark.

No is simple answer. And dark skin, hair, curly hair, etc are dominant genes, not recessive. Black parents may have pale child due to this...but remember what we call "race" is unnatural concept. We are one species and closely related.

Possible yes. Probable not very. I am sure someone will arrive at the mathematical probability for you.

Yes it'll be extremely rare since it'll require ancestor blood like...50 gens ago.
