My daughters Furby Boom did the SAME THING, and I stroked that poor thing and talked to it all night trying to get it to change back! I found the solution online. Turn him upside down, stick your finger on his tongue sensor, and pull his tail (5-10 seconds) while he's talking/ chewing/ or snoring and then his eyes will roll back and then he'll fall asleep. When you sat him right side up he'll wake up talking in the little girl voice. The Furbys voice switched when my daughter kept pressing his tongue trying to feed him over and over. A lot of the post I read said that the Furbys have more than one personality. One post suggested to play music to change his voice back, but the upside down, tongue/tail trick worked like a charm. I'm just realizing that he doesn't have an off switch, I guess I shouldn't have thrown out the directions with the box. I have to put him in the laundry room at night so no one in the house will set off his sensors. Lol This thing has more instructions for care than a Magui off of the Gremlins. I WILL NOT let her get him wet! Lol My 7 year old wanted a pet for Christmas, I guess she kinda got one. Lol
My son over fed my daughters furry and it turned into a sarcastic British man. Also very flatulent. This solution worked. I was thinking Gremlins 3 but it worked. Thanks! The new personality is different from the original but my daughter likes it more. Win win!
