Is satan (Lucifer) really that bad?

I've been studying on God and Satan and to be honest, God sounds worse than Satan. For one, God took away Adam and Eves eternal life, therefore basically murdering them, after Satan gave them knowledge. God let Moses (I think it was Moses. Can't remember.) mass murder people after giving him the six rule things, one of them saying not to kill. It seems to me that God seems worse. and don't tell me off for thinking this, please and thank you in advance.

***** Keep studying Satan and he will confuse you even more. If you want to know God, let Satan go and study only Him. You can't serve 2 masters and God won't reveal Himself until you get real with Him. :) *****

You actually nailed it. *fist bump

You should read some more about how jealous he is and what he does to punish people.

He loves his people so much that if they don't love him back they send them to hell.

God is like a parent he does things like that to protect us so we can be with him in his kingdom .
Satan he makes things look easy. And gives you everything you want but at the end is just eternal fire burning your soul.

Because god is a jealous god. He is not always loving and kind unconditionally. So what I think is that there is no absolute evil or good. People and things are complicated.

God didn't "take away" their eternal life, they surrendered it when they chose to eat of the tree of knowledge. Satan didn't "give" them Knowledge, he tempted them with fruit which GOD created in the first place. Actually Lucifer is a hero trying to overthrow a tyrant. He was defeated but not destroyed. Lucifer has steadily been building the forces of earth ever since God condemned us and started throwing us in hell for being atheist or any other religion. The good news is that God is blinded by his vanity and does not realize the war he was so certain he would win is completely out of hand- Lucifer is at least as powerful now and he has justice on his side along with demons that make the angels cower from their unholy strength. God is an arrogant lost cause at this point that his followers desperately cling to as if wine and plagues will save them. The forces of hell march to the gates now and will lay waste to God. Lucifers vessel will finish God with the lance of Longinus but this time I will collect his head and mount it like a stuffed rhino. We just wont lose and I'm actually starting to think God realizes this even now. His bible has been corrupted and is filled with lies to inflate the Christians. The preachers are atheists and we own earth. The Crimson Dragoon descends, but is holding a sickle.

And you really think that is Satan??? Lol you are in for a bigggg shock when you pass away man. Satans WHOLE purpose is to make things LOOK like he is helping and make them look great to gain souls to build an army, (an army which is tortured in the afterlife btw), so he can ATTEMPT to overthrow a loving God. You really think that a fallen angel that GOD CREATED could defeat him? God spoke a universe into existence, and you think Satan could defeat God when God wouldn't even have to do anything but will him and all of his followers out of existence.
Report as
Its only your opinion that God created Lucifer. I have compelling evidence that just isn't true. Obviously God cannot defeat evil- Lucifer still exists. Its more likely they are evenly matched thus far. I'm STILL pulling souls to hell. Oh, and Lucifer is not the one who will be throwing me into the lake of fire to be tortured- that's God's job. I wont go with my own two legs so it looks like someone is pushing me in so who is the evil one- all Lucifer ever did is lie to me. Ill take my chances with "the angel of light" over the tyrant of torture any day.

-_- that is literally one of the most ignorant things I have ever heard. "God can't defeat the devil because he still exists" and I obviously can't squash this bug on the floor because it is still crawling around! No, I am LETTING it live. God AGREED not to destroy the devil but banished him from heaven and forced him to roam the Earth. God has bigger plans for the Devil and actually USES him.

Well thats your take but I'm actually a prophet of God and you are just a human so I KNOW where as you THINK.

No, Satan is not that bad. Satan was never that bad. Lucifer was actually an angel that knew better than god, according to the original myth. God never gave his creation free will and when his creation started going rampant and crazy, he blew them off. Lucifer understood what the problem was.

Lucifer's not a bad demon. He's a lot better than god. I mean, god's done away with the people during the 8 plagues. He rained brimstone I think on the town of Sodom and Gomorrah. He forced the Pharaoh against his own will. Then, he instructed them to stone homosexuals.

You are extremely delusional
Report as
No, I'm not delusional. YOU just weren't taught about the truth of your own religion.
Report as
I have extensively researched my own religion as well as that of others lol, but nice try. You just saw some article on the Internet and said "oh that sounds reasonable and is easier to follow than Christianity, I'll go with that.
Report as
No, actually, I didn't. It's the truth of Christianity. It's the original myth, which most of Christianity was based on. Just because your religion does not include parts of the myth does not mean the entire myth is not entirely true. Your religion has stolen stories and myths from all over the world as far as I'm concerned. The only one here that is delusional is you.

If you have done extensive research on your own religion, then you would know that your religion is not something to be taken serious. You would know that your religion is based on the teachings, myths, and stories of other religions, and thus you would not be following your religion.

So, no, you have not done any extensive research. The only research you may have done is seeing something online, saying, "Wait, this completely agrees with the Bible and it totally proves the Bible to be correct", even though you were using confirmation bias the entire time.

There are two sides to every story, and Lucifer hasn't written a book yet. The god and the devil are having an argument and we haven't heard the other side, all we hear is god trash talking satan.

This is definitely NSFW, but it is funny ~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mNvKNYA038

Revelation 20 says.........
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
SOUNDS LIKE HE HAS DECEIEVED YOU. BUT HE DOES HAVE A HOME TO OFFER YOU. I HOPE YOU REJECT IT.

“Your adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone.”
(1 Peter 5:8) “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one,” states 1 John 5:19.

Satan is “a liar and the father of the lie,” but he portrays himself as “an angel of light.” (John 8:44; 2 Corinthians 11:14) Satan is portrayed as “the dragon” who gives to the political wild beast “its power and its throne and great authority.”Satan knows he has “a short period of time.” He is wrathful and at war with those “who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness to Jesus.” (Revelation 12:12, 17)
“Lucifer” refers to a human, not to a spirit creature.—Isaiah 14:4, 15, 16.Lucifer is not a name Scripturally given to Satan.

What if satan is actually the creator and the good guy, and god is the evil one, and god just tricked everyone into thinking the devil was bad.

For one... If God let Adam and Eve keep existing in the Garden. You and I wouldn't be here. They'd be living in innocence. Moses received the 10 commandments which include Thou shalt not kill. They were not suggestions!

You really need to take a college level course in ancient history. Look at Wikipedia for the definition of the word. "ah-satan" actually means the accuser. Most people actually believed in Hades and Hades is mentioned in the bible several times. There is also a YouTube video on satan that explain the source of the myth in more detail. In the old testament, people believed that when you died, you slept with your elders. By the time of the new testament was written , the concept of heaven and hell was better developed. Feel free to look all this stuff up.
