It's actually called the Affordable Care Act - it's designed to bring down the cost of, and make more available (to poorer) Americans - quality health care, taking back some of the power the insurance companies had to deny you coverage (based on previous conditions), cut you loose (if you actually used their services), or hike premiums (by as much as 30% per year). It's a good thing.
Basically it's a new health insurance reform that no one can afford, your premiums are going to go up which means you will pay more, and will fail which is what Obamacare really wants because then it will lead to Universal Healthcare which is worse because many countries already have it and several people still come to the USA to get their healthcare because it's really bad and it takes forever to see a doctor and you really do not get the high standard of treatment you were once use to.

Obama care, (aka the affordable care act,) ensures that everyone, despite having a pre-existing health condition, will have health care and be able to receive health treatment. For example, because of Obama care, my professor was able to undergo chemotherapy when she had a rebound in her cancer, and she was not denied health insurance and care, despite already having a history of having had cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. Obama care is the law that allows health care to be affordable for everyone, and not to jeopardize them by denying insurance due to prior health issues. I'm finding that most people against Obama care don't even understand what it is. ("It suc.ks" answers don't say anything about what Obama care is.) Obama care is a GOOD thing.
Simply put hard workers have to pay for those will not work who are on welfare generation after generation lower housing food stamps free phones now they want free medical who is going to pay for it only people who have jobs have money what is Obamacare giving to those don't care
It is a government mandate requiring you to buy health insurance, and, how could you not know this? At the age of 12 I knew everything that was going on, red the news, ect. This must be America's problem.
It (the Affordable Care Act) makes it mandatory for everyone to have health insurance, regardless of personal need. It also puts regulations on healthcare, puting minimum standards on cares so that they contain an approved amount of coverages. This both makes sure people are not shortchanged, but may force people to buy things they dont need. Through their websites people are /supposed/ to be able to view an exchange, but that hasnt happened so far
It makes it easier for people who can't afford health insurance, be able to afford health insurance. ( why is it called obamacare? you don't see apple calling their products "the Jobs-Pod, or Jobs tablet.)
Socialized medicine. It is a big take over of your freedoms. Soon,if this thing sticks around you will be told what you eat, drink, smoke or how many children you may have or not have. Heaven forbid but how long you can live! They do that in Holland. This thing is a big calculation and mistake.
Socialized medicine or what the Communists do to their people It does not work well and neither does dictatorship which is practically what Obama has been doing. He thinks he's the king and can do whatever he wishes.
