Some people will be sad. Some will be indifferent. You might get cremated and sprinkled in the woods or live in a jar on the fireplace. You might get buried. I'm asking for a green burial. Don't worry tho. It won't be your problem, you'll already be dead
According to the Bible in Ecclesiastes 9:5,6 we read: "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun."
These verses tell us that when we die it is like we are in deep sleep. We are completely unaware of our surroundings, our last memory is from the last moment that we were awake.
However, the Bible gives us hope for the future in John 5:28,29: "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment."
ok it depends on if you have accepted Christ as you Savior. If you have, and you live fully devoted to Him, after you die, you will spend eternity (never ever ending) in Heaven - the most wonderful and perfect place anyone has ever, or ever will see. There will be streets of gold, the tree of life, and mansions for us to life in. However, if you have not made the decision to follow Christ, you will spend eternity in hell - the worst imaginable place ever known to mankind. It is also called "the lake of fire" and rightfully so, because that is what it is - a lake of fire. Some people say "it depends on what you believe." But really it's like saying "Is gravity really there? Oh, it depends on if you think it's there or not." It is there no matter what you believe and nothing can change that fact. If you have any questions, please comment. God bless :)
According to the old testament, people who died went to sleep with their ancestors. The new testament was written after the Babylonian exile and the Jews picked-up some Zoroastrian belief. This they merged with their own belief. Zoroastrians (Persians) believed in a dualistic god where there was an evil god and a good god. This dualism slowly led to the dualism of heaven and hell. If you read the bible, you will notice that Hades is often mentioned in the old testament. It is not mentioned in the New testament because the Jewish belief system had evolved by the time it was written.
Basically, you become worm food when you die. So make this one life worth while - you won't get another.

Your brain is physical, matter. Your mind, self-conscience thought, is essence. Very real, as real as the physical. Natural law pertains to physical universe. But consciencness is beyond the restraints of natural / physical law. When the physical dies your real Self is loosed and set free. Unbound. Awareness is more aware. Stepping out into timeless, eternal consciencness
you go to hell or heaven hell is a bigass bar filled with all kinds of beer and intertainment plus the lake of fire but i think people get use to it and shit load of bar fights..heaven is a place where you still have to worship go but you ont get into no fights an there isnt any hate but no beer i repeat NO BEER what a shame
There are many scripture that describe the events that occur after death. I was recently studying the Thessalonians in the bible. Accoeding to Thessalonians 4:13-18-(it begins) Brothers, we don't want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or greive like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep... Therefore encourage each other with these words.
Ok, I finally have an answer. I was raised in a Christian family. We talk about the Bible and God quite frequently. According to what my grandma has said and read, there's a place in heaven for our souls. I don't remember what that room is called. But our souls go there. Now, do I really believe it? I don't know. Questions based on religion or anything that leads to religion confuses me. This is my opinion. PLease don't be scared to comment on it. I respect all opinions. I believe that everyone has a right to their own opinions. SO, if you have a problem or question with mine, please, please don't hesitate to ask. Truthfully though, none of us really knows. All we have is religion and belief. Hope to talk to someone soon: ) Have a nice day.
Our spirits leave our bodies. What happens after that depends on if you are saved by the blood of the lamb, Jesus. That means being born again and being in the Kingdom of God. Read about it in John 3:1-21 and then read the whole book and the whole NT. Romans 3:23; 6:23, Rev. 3:20, John 1:12-13, II Cor. 5:10; 7:10 and 5:17 and Eph. 2:8-10 are good for understanding salvation.
TWO ANGELS COME TO YOUR GRAVE AND ASK ABOUT YOUR 1.RELGION 2.GOD 3.PROPHET 4.BOOK THAT U BELIEVE IN THEN IF U DID THE RIGHT THINK U GO TO HEAVEN AFTER THE DAY OF JUGMENT OR HELL IF U WERE Bad i hope we all go to heaven ;)
When we die it is as if we are in a deep sleep (Eccl 9:5) We are unaware of anything - however, Almighty God has promised us a time when all those in the memorial tombs will be brought back to life (Acts 24:15 ) This is a promise that will see it fulfillment - as God can not lie. (Titus 1:2)
The process in which the human body decomposes starts just minutes after death. When the heart stops beating, we experience algor mortis, or the ?death chill,? when the temperature of the body falls about 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit an hour until it reaches room temperature. Almost immediately, the blood becomes more acidic as carbon dioxide builds up. This causes cells to split open, emptying enzymes into the tissues, which start to digest themselves from within.
Some persons imagine themselves floating off into the heavens, but the truth of the matter is our bodies detiorate, all activity ceases until the time of the resurrection, the righteous and the unrighteous.John 5;28,29

That's the age-old question..... However, God's word the Bible gives us a clear answer to that question. Ecclesiastes 9:5 states, "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten." Also, read Verse 6. Ecclesiastes 9:10 states "Whatever your hand finds to do, do
