I've been having bad luck lately?

So I've been questioning religion lately and ever since I've been having a lot of bad luck happening. I locked myself out of my home and left my land-yard with my keys attached inside, I got scratched deep by my sister and it left a ugly mark on my arm and it looks like it could turn into a scar once it heals, I made a fool of myself today in front of everybody. Am I overreacting?

Well, one thing is certain. Bad things can happen to anyone. In fact, when a person becomes a Christian, things can sometimes get worse. It has nothing to do with "luck."

I know of a committed Christian pastor in another country. He loves God and teaches the Bible faithfully. But he is in a country where there is open opposition to Christianity. He has been threatened many times and was recently arrested on false charges.

Jesus said that in this world we will have tribulation; but to be of good cheer, for He has overcome the world. James tells us to rejoice when we face trials of various kinds, because they strengthen our character and faith. We choose how we react to trials/bad things.

So, yes, to me you are over reacting. But if you are not a follower of Christ, the fact that your troubles made you think of God could be something of a 'sign.' And that is a good thing, if it stimulates you to seek God. Ultimately, you must come to the place that you seek God, not for what He can do to make your life comfortable, but because of who He is.

I don't want to say "Yeah, you are." but everyone has their bad luck phases. (especially me :P) Just blow it off and try your best to make the rest of your day better!

Of course it does! You have turned away from God by questioning him, and now you don't walk in His Light! The world is a horrible place, because it is the place of the devil. Through us humans, the adversary makes this world mean, cruel, and hard. All the evil of the world is done by those who like you have questioned God and turned away from him. Only those who walk in God's Light can ever hope to go through it unscathed.

Look at all the bad things that have happened to you, and realize there is a lot worse waiting! Without God to protect you, the devil will be in every part of your life. Read your bible, renew your faith, and beg God to forgive your transgression before it is too late!

I haven't turned away from God. Believers can question a few things too.

its probably the energy you are putting off. Because you are questioning and unsure, you are sending out an uncertain energy that is probably causing you to goof so much. breathe, accept that you are curious and open to new things religiously. be confident that there is nothing wrong and it should help straighten the energy a bit :)
