I have a scar on my head from brain surgery, if my hair is brown why does only white hair grow from scar?

I think it is super cool! Kinda like Rougue from X-Men! Work it! By the way I have no idea there may be a medical explanation but I think it's cool and makes you unique!

The incision damaged the cells, so that they no longer produce the pigment, melanin, which made your hair brown. Now, you have a distinctive "blaze" (which is what that streak of white is called). Yes, it's unusual, but look at it as a sort of "trademark", and celebrate it. Some women pay good money to have streaks put in their hair. Enjoy it!
