Your hypothalamus (which is part of your brain) has reset your body's thermostat, probably to help you fight off an infection. After a while, your body will get to the temp your hypothalamus thinks you need to be at and you'll stop feeling so cold. Next, you'll feel way too hot until the fever "breaks." After that, you'll be on your way to recovery and feeling better. A fever that gets too high (more than 104 for an adult) can be dangerous. Get to an urgent care facility if it gets to that point.

if you have a high fever and you feel cold, you are sick. I always get the chills when I have a fever, I take a hot bath with a cold rag on my head and a glass of icewater nearby. then I go to bed. this helps
