What do cell phones & computers have in common in hardware?

Report as

More advanced computers these days have a quad core processor with at least 8 GB of ram. Your IPhone/smartphone is still a computer, but it doesn't have a very good processor because it's so much smaller. There is definitely technology as of today that can make your phone more powerful but it'd cost considerably more than you'd ever want to pay.

Okay. So, they both have processors. Nothing else they have in common like a graphics card or HDD??

The newest samsung phones definitely have HDD, but graphics cards? No. Graphics cards are basically independent from the rest of the computer which is why you can have the fastest processor ever made with more ram than all of your friends, but if your graphics card isn't good, you're gonna lag in gaming just like everyone else. The main reason phones don't have them is because their games aren't near as taxing on the processor as computer games due to the resolution and the size of the games and the fact that you're probably not playing battlefield with people online over a 4G network.
