Why does Ask.com keep deleting my questions?!

I've been monitoring this whole situation here, and my theory is that your questions are too discussion based. If you want to take up any disagreement you have with Ask.com removing your answers, email Eric at customer support: http://help.ask.com/ics/support/ticketnewwizard.asp?style=classic

They must be offensive or they were not following rules of ask.com.

it was not offensive, I actually answered a question "how has Ask.com helped you" and they deleted my answer and when I ask why they delete that too. my answer was that I meet a lot of nice intelligent people and it keeps me from being lonely. this will probably end up deleted too....

I was trying to answer your question about how this is an amazing site, when they removed it. Ask.com doesn't like discussion based questions or questions that don't really serve a purpose. If you would like to give thanks to Ask.com, edit your profile and place your thanks there. Then, you can comment on someone's answer (someone that you like on here that you're following or not) and ask them to see your profile.

I agree with it to an extent, but Ask.com is for questions that serve to help the community and to help people understand things. Although I do think that a question like the one you had was really important and should have been an extenuating circumstance.

You are right, Passage. The questions would have caused too personal sounding answers. I noticed that too. Great advice about profile and comments also-and here I am in the COMMENTS saying GREAT ANSWER.

On "How has Ask.com helped you"
you put your answer in as a question.
That's why that one was removed.
