I have a question about my 2005 Nissan Altima. The car is shaking and I don't know what the problem is help?

The car is salvage for starters, I bought it off a guy who has like a small "dealer" store. I've been driving it for 5 months no problems at all. The only problem it has would be that it "jerks" usually when I pass the 10mph mark. Sometimes the "jerk" is hard/loud and sometimes it doesn't do that at all. I had my transmission filter oil change and this problem got solved, but the guy that fixed it said that the transmission doesn't work because it had dirt in the tray or something like that. After a two weeks, the "jerking" began and I checked the transmission oil and it is fine. Just today the engine was shaking when I was on the red light. I had to step on the gas a little bit more to give it more power and well I don't know what the problem is. Can anyone give me advice on what it might be? and how much it will cost to fix? Thanks a lot! I am not that well informed on cars, but I can fix stuff (my uncle just helps me). I'd really appreciate any help I get.
