My mom hacked on my Facebook and now I am very upset! What should I do?

Today, my mom hacked my Facebook account and according to her, she needs to know my password or I am grounded for a week if I refuse to tell her. So today, without my permission, she private messaged this girl who i havent spoken to in a long time and say "hey". She never responded. I am upset because I dont want her to call me anymore during the school day because starting Monday, I get home a 6pm everyday and I am extremely busy monday through friday. Will she call me a lot now that my mom sent her that message on Facebook? I am very upset =[

Dude, I don't think moms hack our accounts lol She probably just found out what your password was. Just ask your mom to try and stop invading your privacy, we all understand shes your mom but theres a limit.

I don't know why are you so afraid. You should make another account and give that one to your mother. People have more than one fb accounts for specific purposes. You give the account which is far more less harmful for you.

Yeah, just make another one. Unfortunately, it seems your mom is incredbily controlling, which, while it's only annoying now, will eventually cause you to have a mental breakdown in the middle of school. So have fun with that.(:

She's your mother. Tell her you don't want her to talk to your friends calmly and kindly. What is it that's so important that she doesn't see anyway?

Calmly ask her not to talk to your friends while pretending to be you, and get rid of whatever it is you're hiding. Or better yet, show her what you're hiding.

My mother has known my Facebook password since I first got my account. But I only *rarely* let her post on our town's Facebook page for her own reasons because she doesn't have her own Facebook account. If she EVER messaged one of my friends I would go insane. There shouldn't be anything to hide anyways, let her have your password but tell her that there are limits.

You are a child. You do not have 'rights' to privacy. You are subject to your parents oversight and control. Sorry. That's just the way it is.

She's your mom, just tell the truth, or close your account.
