How to get a regular bowel movement?

I don't smoke or drink coffee, and won't start for that. Tried Activia didn't work. Use the bathroom like once every 5 days.

Ground flax seed sprinkled on your food.
Works great and has little flavor.
Keep it in the fridge so it doesn't go rancid.
I keep a small container with my vits so I usually remember it.
Also have made mini muffins with it mixed in with the flour. You can make all different kinds that way. Banana walnut, blueberry, etc,...

Eat a few prunes each day, between 3-5 of them. That'll do it.

Eat 20-30 grams of fiber everyday. Do not eat more than 55 grams of fat everyday.

yep, fiber : as in celery, pears, cabbage, carrots , beans etc. and make sure you get some every day, then your body will adjust and set it's own schedule. prunes make you go, but don't add alot of fiber.
