Are there any exercises and food to improve brain power?

i heard that there are some exercises to increase your brain power i really want to increase it more than it already is and since im a girl who likes to workout i wanna know what these exercises are and also please suggest some brain powering foods. im open for any suggestions

neither excises nor food supplement nor any external usage can improve you brain power according to me -my suggestion is to concentrate on what ever you do-start your thinking process and START PLAYING CHESS

Eggs are brain powering food, because they contain a lot of good cholesterol.

Brain powering exercises would be anything that requires you to think beyond what you normally do. A difficult word search might be something. Searching for really big words in a small amount if time could be another. Playing Sudoku helps out your brain.

Proteins are brain food, physical exercise is good for the brain, and I have an app on my phone called Mind Games that works different areas of the brain.

in my view nor any special food is essential in building brain.....ya its true all wanna have a sharp brain ....but IQs talents vary from one to other.....if you take your normal meal daily with appropriate requirements along wid sincere hard labour in studies..m sure it will really help u a lot.....competition is a major act.....feeling jealous with someones success would surely slow down the spirit....competing with other will make your brain more sharper

fresh vegetables and fruits are important , also sea food all is very good for brain activity ,also garlic ,, But you have to know that brain alertness is increased by all the kinds of activities which need thinking , and by excessive reading and by open discussion and by problems and solutions ( in games , home work , books )as the maximum as you use your mind your brain is improved , for this reason they found that the person who is run just one job ,is usually suffering from a slow mind ,,,

I wouldn't call this a power brain food, but coffee suits me fine. If you want the energy to the brain, coffee could be it.

Almonds are "brain food", but I don't know any exercises.
Peppermint (well any, MINT) helps with concentration. Like if you chew gum or have one of those bottles with the dropper of peppermint, drop a drop or two where you are working.

meditate.breath... as in concentrate on breathing...hang out with nature. Hiking . eat donuts.just kidding eat broccoli like put it in your daily dishes.

I will suggest you some IMP tips to improve your Brain power.Before that you should know something about Brain. We have 3 types of brain i.e Reptilian Brain,Limbic system and Neocortex Brain.

1. Soak 5 Almonds in the night and eat those in the morning to empty stomach .
2. Breath fresh air ( sit comfortably and slowly inhale and exhale ) for 5 min.
3. Do Anuloma - Viloma pranayaama. (you can ask any one who knows pranayama )5min
4. To improve brain power we will get some musics in market daily listen to it.
5. Chant this mantra for 1008 times first time and 108 times every day which will help you to improve your brain power and concentration in studies.Better chant this before breakfast. don't chant after having non-veg.
"OM KRING KRING KRING".
6. When you go to bed try to write the thinks whatever you have done whole day.maintain a dairy.
7.Eat Bhootayi Fish.
8.Try to solve puzzels.

But remember you should follow these at list 21 days continuously l hope you will get success.

Carbohydrates. Especially, complex carb. Your brain runs off of glucose -- without it you can't think well. Also, doing mental math, instead of a calculator, can help exercise your noggin. That's the food and exercise I suggest.
