If your close to birth and your baby moves a lot does that mean your waters gonna break?

Report as

***** Not necessarily. My first child was premature, my water broke with no warning. My second birth they had to break my water.
With both my labors I remember the babies being pretty quiet (not moving) for a few days before. :) *****

If you are close to birth, your water will break soon. That's pretty obvious.

My wife had two children, and her water never broke in either birth. It's actually quite common. Do you do any research at all before posting your rude answers?

Not always! With two they had to break it. The third broke on its own.

Yup, my second had to be broken.

My son moved A LOT but you do feel like it's more action in there cuz he's grown much larger in the last months. I only have one so I didn't know what to expect which is why I was having labor pains for nearly a week prior to labor and didn't know it. I just thought the extensive amount of weight was putting pressure on things. If you feel ANY cramping you tell your doc.
