Why do we care what God thinks?
I am a radical agnostic, but this has been bothering me for a long time. From what I have heard about religion, God made us in his image, yes? So... Doesn't that mean God is just some dude with a hell of a lot of power (pun intended)? God says such and such is 'good', but why are we supposed to agree with him invariably? I mean, I agree that things like murder and theft are wrong, obviously, but there are other things looked down upon by various religions that I personally don't think are wrong. Why does God know better than anyone else what is 'good' and what is 'bad'?
