Is it possible to use sign language in a comic book?

I'm planning to make a webcomic series where one of the characters is deaf and mute and speaks in sign language

I suppose it's possible but it would be difficult because a lot of sign language requires movement.

How about using a thought bubble while their hands move instead of a dialog box?

I would say so. Maybe, you should make him DEAF. But your character can use telekinesis to talk by entering another persons mind.

I love the idea! Go for it!!! How uplifting it will be for deaf people, who have almost no role models in movies or TV. I commend you for the excellent idea! Best of wishes.
