What does it mean when bruises appear on your body for no reason?

It can be as simple as bumping into something. There are other physical reasons: low vitamin C, medication causing easy brushing to more complicated reasons such as cancer. See your doctor for tests & maybe this will help www.everydayhealth.com or www.peepole.com/Bruises+For+No+Reason

Dear slice, I wish I could pull you aside and have a quick chat with you. There's so much I know that would blow your mind. Someday I hope you'll find happiness.

Be aware that it could also mean the possibility of disease. Leukemia or Hodgkin's disease can cause those bruises, as can liver disease.

There's some good advice given already. If the bruising persists, see a doctor.

On the other hand you may be developing stigmata. That's what they call it when very spiritual people begin to bleed from the hands, the feet, and the side, where Christ bled on the Cross.

I thought I had stigmata once and went to see a doctor about it. He wasn't very encouraging. He said it was only hemorrhoids.

I swear, Dozy, you always make me laugh just when I need it most.

Hi Raleigh, that sounds a tad grim. I hope you're having a good day.

For goodness sakes Jesus Christ bled from three places you said it yourself So why would you think you were spiritual bleeding from an area not even effected.
Report as
Darn, I knew I had it wrong. No wonder the doctor didn't like the idea.

Well, Dozy, when you come back to answering religious questions, you really come back, don't you?

I hope the hemorrhoids are better.. Your story made me laugh, as usual.

@toni - I think you have not yet learned that Dozy is not to be taken too seriously, sometimes..

Back in the 1980s I was foolish enough to use a trip to the proctologist as an excuse for a training ride. I went by bicycle. I hadn't realised what he was going to do to me and the ride home was memorable.

That's when I had my epiphany and realised what they were.
