How can I get over stage fright?

I will mumble my words or become very quiet and with a mic it is horrible. I am actually really good, but it's those things that get me. also I get clammy when the spot light is on me. How can this be changed? I wanna get a record label for my songs that I can sing. please help.

Stage fright is something that a lot of people have problems with. Im a dancer so I'm very used to the stage, but when I try and sing in front of a crowd I choke up and just can't do it! I've found that when I am forced onto a stage I am more worried than when I'm able to walk on by myself. Stage fright doesn't have a "cure". It's about feeling comfortable in your own skin and being able to gain the confidence. It sounds like this is something that is really bugging you.

I think the best treatment for you fear is to practice singing in front of a crowd or in the spotlight. If there is a stage where you can go and sing, you could go practice. You could even be alone, just get used to the stage :) it's all about comfort

Yeah I can't use a stage. I'd be freaking out anyways if someone heard me if I was alone. I am fine at home if I don't think anyone can hear me but if my mom says why are you singing I get super quiet.
