What is a good way i can get my cats to get along

i just recently got a kitty and my older cat is not liking it....what is a good way to help them get along

Cats are members of colonies. There is an alpha cat to every colony. Make your older cat the alpha kitty. Meaning older kitty gets everything, yes everything first. Greeted, food, treats, petted, lap time. Even of the kitten gets pushed off your lap, pushed aside to give the older kitty food and treats first. Plus what person likes having a strange annoying kid brought into their house? Same for your cat. Do the alpha kitty steps and take a deep breath. They will learn to get along. Good Luck.

Cats are not very social animals and if you want them to get along you should ensure they do not have to compete for food and that they both get adequate attention.
