Do fire alarms spray ink when pulled

Some fire alarms will spray a substance on you when you pull the alarm. However, the substance is not normally one that will stain and resemble ink. Instead, it is a substance that will only appear under ultraviolet light.

If it was pulled as a prank people could look at everyone and see who did it maybe!
