In my opinion: 1.) Superstitious = loud, boisterous, relies on rituals to believe 2.) Faith = quiet , controlled, no need to condemn or involve others
If you use your necklace to communicate quietly between you and god, I see it as Faith. If you were to demand everyone have a necklace like yours and use it to pray with or they would be condemned for life , I see that as superstitious .
This may be useful to you. It's from the Internet:
Superstition is based on ignorance or lack of true knowledge of God and His ways. But faith is based on God. Faith is based on the knowledge of who God is and how and why He does things. Faith is also something that God gives to us and not something that we can generate. We can, at best, respond in faith to what He speaks to us.
A blessed necklace, that's being superstitious, you don't need 'blessed' things when you have God, believing in God is religious while believing in broken mirrors, those 'forward this or you die' messages and 11:11. Now I love pretending that those things are real, and I love hoping that when I wish on 11:11 it will come true, and yes I am superstitious, but others superstitions can be another's religious beliefs, like Greece and their Gods or Indians and there God of Earth and Wind and Water and stuff
