if we talk about some substances drinking a lot of water or some juice,about activity some exercises,walking slowly or run the same way,going outside when it is cold ,sex but important is to be focused what are you doing :)
LoveU365 is right - build muscle. That muscle tissue is like a little engine, needing fuel to run. You don't need big muscles either (ladies), but adding muscle will improve your metabolism. Eat several small meals during the day. Don't skimp on sleep. Lean protein and plenty of veggies and fruits.
Yes the best way is to build muscle and drink caffeine. However I have to ask why? A slow metabolism isn't going to make you lose weight. You will lose weight if you have a negative calorie flow. Eat fewer calories or work out more.
There is a simple answer. Working out and a stable diet. But if you are not into that kind of thing just eat a good portion of pineapple. The acid helps to digest food faster and get it into your system that can really help on a diet.
This may seem like a broken record but, the proof is in the results. I weighed 235 and for years tried different diets but always climbed back up to 235 and had low energy. I gradually changed what I ate and have the results that I always desired. I weigh 165 and no longer am concerned about my energy levels or appetite. Eat fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, fish, and limit carbohydrates and red meats. If you open your refrigerator door and an apple does not look appealing, that's appetite calling, not hunger. Add simple walking to your activities and you will be amazed with the results!
do not skip any meals! The more you eat the higher it gets... as long as it healthy foods and your not constantly stuffing food into your mouth. Your digestive system is smart and slows down your metabolism if it thinks your not eating enough to keep your body healthy!

Exercising helps and cutting out all starches makes a difference. No white flour, no white sugar or white rice, white potatoes. Have a small yam instead or 1/3 cup (uncooked) rice, cooked, have a little honey instead of processed sugar. Have 5 fruits and vegetable servings a day. God bless.
