I have a piece of glass in my thumb that I cannot get out and it won't quit bleeding. Any suggestions?

Yeah, if he/she can't get it out AND it won't stop bleeding, than that's probably the best idea.

you have to use a needle and dig it out. I had a piece in my toe once and whenever i stepped it hurt so my parent had to use a needle and dig it out

Pick it out. Stand the pain

I've tried picking it out with both a needle and a knife, it actually doesn't hurt that bad, I can't see it and I don't feel it, I just assume "it" is still in there because it keeps bleeding.

Remain calm, and pull it out. Please don't make Spongebob's season 5 episode The Splinter scene start all over again. Just pull it out, or you may have an infection.

Pick it out slowly with tweezers, or a needle. Make sure not to push it in further though. (That's what my mom always told me to do) btw how'd you type this question?

It's on the inside of my thumb...

If I could find it I think it would stop bleeding (see comment above)- I even tried sleeping with a piece of raw potato on it to draw it out - no luck.
