Never cared for any of her stuff. Hookless, forgettable, paint-by-numbers schlock, then and now. Her personality has always been obnoxious and grating, and her current antics are contrived schtick, just like her Hannah Montana image was. If she were an artist, she would not have to resort to the kind of hype and shock she has to in order to stay in the public consciousness. Her music and the quality of her performance would be enough, which is why, in the near future, she will be as forgotten as Marilyn Manson.
yea...when i'm listing to the song i'm not going by how the person is when they are in public...i go by how the person is when they are singing the song and the words they put in it. no matter how she act she still knows how to put her motions in a song and make it sound really good.
Regardless of the way she acts, I just don't find her music appealing. There is no art or purpose to it to make it memorable, and it's honestly not even fun or catchy to listen to in my opinion. I wasn't really a big fan of hers before her mental breakdown, but at least the music meant something then. As an individual, she needs help, not attention. And as an artist, well ... She needs to either find her old muse or leave the music industry for good. Then she could do what she loves and be a non-contributive waste of space on MTV
Well, I grew up with Hannah Montana, so you can imagine how I reacted when she changed dramatically. So, no, I decided to stop listening to her music. It's just sex and drugs, a horrible influence. But at the same time, I try not to judge. Imagine the whole world judging you?
