If I've been throwing up, how long until I can eat?

I threw up last night and continued vomiting until 11:30pm (about 5 times) and I believe it may be a stomach bug that was going around my school. I haven't eaten or drank anything but water and 5ish crackers since yesterday at lunch. its currently 3:00pm, what would happen if I were to eat a cup of soup (ramen noodles)? Could I eat that without any problems or vomiting? I am very cautious of this.

Best bet is to only eat a tiny bit and wait half hour. Keep is simple with the noodles...don't use the spice pack. If you have already been throwing up, your tummy will be worse with spices right now than normal and that could make you throw up faster. Sip fluids often and do not drink fast as that can start you throwing up again!

The real danger is dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. You should call your doctor immediately.

Totally depends on what exactly you had. The flu? Food poisoning? I would try it. Just sip the soup first and see if your stomach can take it.

DON"T EAT any thing with cheese product in it. Try eating bread and drinking Gatorade to get the nutrients you lost in the vomit. stay in bed be still and you'll be fine in a day or two.
