Depends.... how old are you? (Children and young teens can get away with stuff like Chore coupons).
Are you on a budget and are you willing to be creative? Do you have a craft store in your area? I ask this because I love to make presents and I buy cross-stitch packs and I'm currently waiting on a delivery order for the ornaments I'm going to make for my cousins.
A gift you make is much more meaningful than a pretty piece of jewelry. You put your hard work and heart into the gift when you made it and it's a lasting memory.
Get her a gift card to a nice store, her favorite restaurant, or a Starbucks gift card. Than make her a hand-made Christmas Card. And just write really nice stuff to her inside of it. It's simple, but really sweet. And than put everything into a cute gift bag. And than put in like some Dove Chocolates in there as well. Everyone loves chocolate!
I love when my kids make the homemade gifts for momma but if you're older gift cards are always a good route especially if you purchase an American express card, that way she can use it wherever she wants.
I would suggest jewelry or canals like maybe like vanilla scented canals my mom loves that! And also you can listen to her when she's talking like if you see her saying I love that movie you can get her that on dvd or something
