What color is the sky in space?

Report as

Trick question! There is no sky in space. The sky is a layer of atmosphere on the Earth.

Now, if you're looking at the Earth FROM space, there's a bit of a blue haze around the planet. The rest of space itself is black.

There is no SKY in the space because when you go to space you are in the sky. The color is color of light you get to see and most of the time it is BLACK as there is no light source near by.

WRONG^
actually the sky wouldn't be black, it would be full of stars, it would actually be bright if you were kinda far away from a star. but there is no sky in space

Have you seen a photo of space? Most of it is "space" between the stars. The stars emit light, yes, but space itself is not a star.

Actually, some things I'm reading says that it may be mostly green - out of any color - due to cosmic radiation.

If you've flown in a plane you can notice that on the runway the cloudless sky can be bright blue. After reaching let's say 31,000 feet and looking out the window toward what is still the sky it appears much darker losing quite a bit of blue and looking closer to black. If you flew to the edge of space you would see stars with a black background. This is very much like the night time sky on the Earth.
