impress your friends make a good nutritious wholesome meal. taking time to feed oneself properly(friends too) is a powerful thing. if you do not have time to prepare a good meal every day you're doing something extremely wrong. If you don't who will/who cares?
do you have an oven take some chicken pieces season it with what ever you like put it in baking dish in separate dish,get red potatoes cut in 4 to 6 pieces season it with salt and any other spice you like toss them with olive oil if you have.put both item in the oven at 350 , take salad greens mix choose a dressing . 30 to 45 minutes before you need to serve easy somehow healthy and is a real dinner preheat oven while prep

Vegetarian tacos... use Morningstar crumbles as meat substitute, and of course then the usual stuff... taco seasoning, shells, lettuce shred, tomato, salsa, hot peppers, cheddar/American cheese shred ... AWESOME for everyone... the meat substitute tastes better than ground beef .. afterall the seasoning overtakes the taste of what its combined with anyhow
N fish! You get some noodles. Chop in yummy salmon or fish. Stir and add vegetables if you like. Put in some fresh mozzarella and olives. Then serve on a plate. Favorite! I am 17 still a teen, but almost an adult. My mom used to make it for me when I was 14 but now I make it for her.
I enjoy a whole wheat or white wrap/tortilla, filled with some canned black beans or refried beans. Top with lettuce, salsa, sour cream or plain Greek yoghurt and shredded cheese. Guacamole or sliced avocados if you like them. Fold up like a burrito and eat cold. Or, heat your beans separately in the microwave before assembling wrap. Good to take on the go! Variation: fill with scrambled eggs, cheese and salsa. Zap in microwave to melt the cheese. Enjoy!
Spaghetti is fast. Or throw together a pot of chile (use lean beef or turkey) in a crock pot in the morning then have it for dinner with some of that frozen oven warm up garlic toast with cheese. Don't forget crackers for the chile. Get a cookbook for the crock pot because it has allot of possibilities.
The basics of any meal: Protein, Vegetable(s), Starch(es), Dairy, Fat, and Free foods. Now this is translated to a meal you might like: Pork chop, green salad, dinner roll, butter, milk/soda/juice and if you must: Dessert: fruit, fresh; pudding, Portions do not need to be huge! OR: Fish sticks, mac-n-cheese, carrot sticks, milk, fresh fruit or fig bars.
Fast food: Tacos, Hamburgers, Pot pies, meat and cheese sandwiches, chili.

Variety of main entrees with a starch (bread, roll), green veggie, drink, with different colored foods makes for good presentation.
buy some chicken breast, skinned and boneless, fillet them and put them on parchment or waxed paper, cover with another piece of paper, now gently but firmly pound with a meat mallet or if you do not have a mallet, a tin can will work. pound the fillets until they are about one eighth of an inch thick. now you have a versatile piece of meat to work with.Now I will give you several suggestions, you can try. saute with fresh or frozen vegetables, adding either fresh ginger or bottled terryaki sauce for a quick and easy and healthy dish, you can serve that with rice or even better, my teenagers like it over ramen noodles yes I said it. another option is to take the same approach except instead of the vegetables stir fry with buffalo seasonings or add some bottled buffalo sauce at the lat 30 seconds of cooking time. now you can quickly make wraps, add some crumbled chunks of blue cheese or feta c heese you can add whatever else you or they like such as, lettuce, tomato , avacado etc.
it is important and hard question to answer,maybe most of parent will meet this problem.I know one mother who is writer make the dinner different everyday,and make the dinner as animal or flower,it can attract child to eat it.
um...UM! Hotdogs. and macaroni.. and... chicken. and... fries... and... Tacos and... pizza. and... Pizza rolls,... and... hamburgers! and... Bananananananananas < kidding. Not bananas. erm.. Quesidillas are good. (pronounced Casadias) fish fast food! (psst MCDONALDS) or just give them pizza and BACON or even better PIZZA WITH BACON
Impress someone and make something that you and they will enjoy. Make it by your own recipe. If I could make anything I would make Chinese food. I have no idea how I would make my own favorite food with my recipe. This is what I would do.
Taco salad! Crush some Fritos, top with hot refried or black beans, hot taco meat (turkey or beef), add your toppings of cheese, onions, tomatoes, sour cream and salsa. Easy, economical and nutritious.
My 4 boys love Chinese cuisine. I boil some very fine spaghetti noodles such as angel hair and when it is boiled but not fully cooked I remove the water and put them on the grill with soy sauce and oil and a touch of garlic. . I usually do this to get my kids to eat leftover meat. The meat gets fried in Teriyaki sauce in a pan along with a partial pack of mixed vegetables that I can get from the Wall-Mart freezer section. The entire meal either gets mixed together on the grill or I just mix the meat and vegetable and allow my boys to first take a scoop of noodles then add the meat and vegetables on top. The whole things takes about 20 minutes to put together and half of that time is boiling the noodles. Very easy but you have to clean the grill afterwards.
Make your own pizza. You get get shells and other ingredients at the grocery store. It's perfect for people with different tastes. I'm a teen that would eat anything but I have a friend that doesn't eat cheese, vegetables, or anything "Mushy"
My mom makes these AMAZING chocolate crepes- You make very thin pancakes, the after they are cooked you lay them out and spray Reddi-Whip down the middle, them drizzle Hershey's Chocolate Syrup over it. Then you roll it up and put more Reddi- Whip and chocolate syrup over it, then cut strawberries in half and put them on top. Make sure to make quite a few because they are delicious!!! My entire family and all of my friends love them, and I bet you will too!!!!
also Mexican pizzas. PREHEAT oven to 400degrees. You get a soft tortilla for everyone, put out all the ingredients for toppings: 1-pinto/re-friend beans, 2-nacho/mexican mix cheese, 3-cooked meats (if you want), and you heat each one in the oven on BROIL for ONE MINUTE (you can do a couple at a time on the top rack to melt the cheese and harden the tortilla wrap). NEXT you let them top each of their Mexican pizzas with cold toppings, 1-sour cream, 2-guacamole, 3-salsa. They have fun, and it is very healthy because you can use fresh ingredients with NO frying and they love it.
