How much margarine should you use in replacement for 1 stick of butter

I don't really use butter, but instead I use margarine so how much butter could you use for 1 stick of butter

Butter is 'real' food; Margarine is not. You gain ZERO benefit from eating it. The kind of fat in butter can actually be used by the human body and is beneficial in small amounts. Margarine is an artificial substance that actually encourages weight gain. Consider that since the public starting eating Margarine instead of butter, obesity levels have soared. Great rule of thumb from my Native American great-grandmother: If the birds won't eat it, you shouldn't either. Birds won't eat Margarine. Even lard is better for you than that artificial junk!

I would use the same amount; I believe a stick of butter is 1/4 cup.
