I think your paper would be really interesting if it was about one of the lesser-talked about Black people who have made major contributions to our society. Or maybe one who is overlooked for being an artist rather than an inventor or civil rights activist. Here are some ideas:
Neil deGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist Louis Armstrong, trumpeter and singer Ntozake Shange, award-winning writer Hiram Rhodes Revels, senator
i think you should write about condoleezza rice because she is a great person and i even saw her at the super bowl. she was a congresswoman and she was an only child to a presbyterian minister. she had a great childhood and she is just awesome. i think you should choose her!!!!!!!!
For other people named Anthony Johnson, see Anthony Johnson (disambiguation). Anthony Johnson was an Angolan African held as an indentured servant by a merchant in the Colony of Virginia in 1620, but later freed to become a successful tobacco farmer and owner of an African slave of his own. However on his death in 1670 a court ruled that he was: "a negro and by consequence, an alien", and the colony seized his land.
Basically he started slavery in the US and he was black. Hummm they didn't teach you that in school huh.
If someone knows this person, or you can google it!
But the girl that fought for the black people.
In the early days black and white people did not get along and on the busses black people sat in the back and white in the front. Then one day this "lady" was to tired to go to the back so she stayed at the front! Long story short she refused to move and sued them then won
