How long does it take for drug addiction symptoms to go away?

I have a problem I use my phone all day, play videogames and watch special movies. I only can function well when my mind is stimulated by one of these things and If I'm not doing any of these things I experience anxiety, paranoia, panic attacks, depression, and boredom. I have lost interest in stuff I used to love. So if I quit doing these bad addictions/drugs how long would it take for my symptoms to go away?

You neglected to say what drugs you're using/quitting. (??) That's key, as withdrawal time is different with different drugs.
What you're experiencing now sounds like depression along with the anxiety & panic attacks.
Instead of self-medicating, it'd be a much better idea to see a psychiatrist, explain these feelings. It's likely you'd be prescribed, & benefit from, an antidepressant medication, or combination of medications. Most antidepressants also work well for anxiety/panic attacks, too.
Drug use really messes up your brain chemistry! How long it'll take for you to feel better depends greatly on what kind of drug(s) you've been using, and the length of time you were using it/them.
Do yourself a favor & see your doctor. Be 100% honest about your drug use & your effort to quit. Any doctor will be glad to hear you want to stop illegal drugs & will do whatever he/she can to help you feel better as you're recovering from addiction. I don't know what you're quitting, but I do know it'd be much easier on you if you get professional medical help.... and... Good for you!! Excellent decision to stop using!! Give it a little time -- you WILL feel better... :)

Haha... I see now! I totally misunderstood -- I thought those were the things you were doing to keep your mind off drugs -- my bad!

In that case.... I don't know how long it'd take to feel better as none of those are chemical substances. However, they do affect chemicals (neurotransmitters) in your brain, pretty much in the same way drugs do.
Why are you quitting these things? Have they interfered with your life so much that you need to stop?
Well... your symptoms still sound as though you'd really benefit from some psych help. The problems you describe may have been there all along, and w/o the video games, movies & phone, your mind is no longer distracted & the symptoms/problems are much more noticeable now.
It'd be good for you to talk to a therapist who specializes in addiction. A therapist can help you get past your addiction & find new hobbies/activities that don't disrupt or interfere with your life & responsibilities.

Why not try doing some drawings? Get a paper & pencil and start doing some sketches of whatever's on your mind, or some nearby objects.
Focusing on drawing can take your mind off what you're feeling, and you may find you truly enjoy it... and... I'd say it's a harmless/non-addictive activity, so give it a try....
And on Monday, please call your doctor! You do have some issues that can get much better with psych help -- with talk therapy & with (or w/o) medication.
Take care, be well... :)

Several days I would say. This is an addiction, and you'll need the support of your family and friends, as well as something to do to keep yourself busy.

Yeah I have no sympathetic/compassionate friends or faimly members but I really think I can pull through this. Seven day's sounds good and I will find something to occupy myself with Thank You!!!

Oh, the "joy" of X-mas shopping... bleck! :p
I don't sleep much these days either... up at 2 AM today, that's a record-breaker... much too early!!

(I totally misread this Q; the addiction is video games, "special" movies, and phone.... I thought that's what this person was doing to keep busy while going through drug withdrawal -- oopsy -- I'm reeeaally tired!)

Lol it's all good! Hope you got some sleep :)

Haha -- thanks, Jackie! I did sleep a li'l better, awake at 4 AM today... sure beats 2 AM! :D
"Enjoy" finishing up your X-mas shopping! Try online shopping and/or gift cards. Much more pleasant then endless trips to, & walks through, the mall. I'm not a fan of malls... ugh... or walking... :p

In order to get rid of drug addiction you need to cleanse your body -liver & kidneys. Try herbs like milk thistle...
