Separating 2 Chinchillas?
don't answer if you don't have experience with these animals please, thank you!

I have a 4yr old mother and her daughter is 2. I bought them a couple minths ago. I already had a male chinchilla, but all they do is fight (the mom and the male)
I want to sell the mom and just keep the male and the daughter chinchillas.
is it okay ti separate the mom and daughter? they've been together for their whole lives. I dint want them to get extremely sad when they are not together

Ok, to start the separation process put them in two cages side by side. Over time slowly separate the cages. They will adjust. Cute little furballs with incredibly soft fur that's been used for coats.

well I have 3 of them. 1 male 2 female.
I bought the male 2 yrs agl the females a couple of months ago, they came together. I thought the 3 would ger along but both females hate the male. I wanted to sell 1 female. so j would only have 1 male and 1 female left.
I just don't want the females to ger sad from being away from each other

He is a stranger to them. They might get used to him in time and be fine.
