1st cylinder misfire on '04 Buick Rendezvous. Plugs & wires have 15,000 miles on them. Should I change them again or change the coil pack?

Check the primary of the coil if bad replace and pull #1 plug. If fouled, clean regap and reinstall. Check plug wire, anything over 50 ohm resistance are junk. Look for any burn spots in the wire from exhaust.

I do smell something burning and wasn't sure what it was. You're saying perhaps a wire is burning?

Thanks Guys. Pulled the wire off and it was fried from the exhaust. The plastic clip that holds the 3 rear wires came dislodged and the 1st wire was laying against the exhaust. Pretty easy fix, although it was a pain the ass to get to. Burned and scratched arms up to the elbow, but no more spuddering

I would change just the plug wire on the #1 cylinder first. If that stops the misfire, you'll know it's bad wires.
