Allow yourself a certain amount of time each day to be on the computer and then stick to it. Not only will you get a lot more done and get to have a lot more interests and hobbies, but you'll appreciate your computer time all the more when you have it.
I don't know break your computer, that's the best advice for an addiction, and maybe talk to somebody. Also if you don't wanna ruin your computer, Christmas is almost here, give a friend or loved one your computer
That's too bad. You should find a hobby that does not involve you being inside. Maybe you can get over it and recover. Any sports you like? Interested in taking classes to teach you a desired skill? Anything dose not involve you being by your computer. Most importantly it has to be something that you want to do.
Try pursuing a hobby. For motivation do something you know you can show to friends and family. I usually try to learn new guitar songs, but if you are not musically talented (neither am I but I do my best) then possibly learn a craft. Anything but going on the computer will help it. Try also deleting games/accounts on your computer, or have someone physically take away your computer.
You are addicted because you cultivate a computer habit to yourselves. The point is if you want to take less time surfing the Internet, you have to use self-regulation to shut down computer after opening it for 14 days. This way will improve your time saving habit. Good luck
