Someone has told me that in the British parliament there is a stick which sometime is on the table and sometime blow table. is it true?
someone has told me that in the British parliament there is a stick which they use to represent the session is on or off, when the stick is on the table it represents that the session is on, and if the stick is not on the table and blow the table or within it, it represents the session is off. so my question is that is it true? if yes then where can i find some text about it, please if you know, give me some idea, or reference of a website or book where i can find it. i really need it because i am a student of Political Science and i have to know about it. i shall be very thankful to you.
