Is your teacher's lack of teaching affecting your ability to succeed in the class? If so, collect specific examples of your teacher's failings (simply saying, "My teacher isn't teaching me anything" is not helpful) and report to your principal or other school administrator. It helps to have other students (and, better yet, parents) corroborate your experience in your teacher's class. Now, if your teacher's lack of teaching is NOT negatively impacting your grade, enjoy your easy A, and research the subject matter on your own, if you are interested in the subject. Either way, get ready to encounter such a situation in college, with a tenured professor who has about as much interest in lecturing undergrads as he has in getting 100,000 paper cuts on his face.
