No, I think feminists fight against their own over-exaggerated view of how things work. They imagine a world in which they are being persecuted and everyone is persecuting them and they fight against that.

adjective 1. advocating social, political, legal, and economic rights for women equal to those of men. From the definition it just seems that they would like to be equal to men.Feminism is mainly focused on women's issues, but because feminism seeks gender equality, the author bell hooks and other feminists have argued that men's liberation is a necessary part of feminism and that men are also harmed by sexism and gender roles.
What makes you think men are not feminists? Anyone who fights against gender discrimination is a feminist. Throughout history, men have controlled the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government. Women are the majority gender in the US and are still massively underrepresented in government and industry.
Feminine is the female principle. A female is a gender/sex. Ism is a suffix appearing in loanwords from Greek, where it was used to form action nouns from verbs (baptism); on this model, used as a productive suffix in the formation of nouns denoting action or practice, state or condition, principles, doctrines, a usage or characteristic, devotion or adherence, etc. (criticism; barbarism; Darwinism; despotism; plagiarism; realism; witticism; intellectualism).-----Dictionary. com Attach this suffix to the feminine principle and you have a sexism, a female sexism, a feminism.
