What do you call people who are from International Law Enforcement to [Military] for Hire?

Creating a non-specialized name like United States, United Nations, United Kingdom, Nation of Chi (Spiritual Energy) AKA China

Report as

Mercenaries is a bit outdated. They are called private contractors. meaning its a company owned by an individual who gets contracts from the government. The government hires contractor companies to do jobs to dangerous for our troops.

Interesting, but because the "company" needs to be international & unbiased would imply that they would get their assignments from the Countries & Nations of the United Nations through their Security Council
Report as
They are not all international, or unbiased. I think it's safe to say that if The Taliban wanted to hire the company formerly called blackhawk (can't remember the new name) which is the most well know American group, they would have a tough time on their hands.

Good Points
I have my reasons to create a non-specialized name, one of them being for comics, books, & other entertainment.

Double Checking
If an unbiased group was put together what should it be called?
[blank] Mercenaries [blank]
Report as
depends on the group really, and what the group decides
Report as
What if the group was a VERY loose affiliation to the United Nations Security Council? In other words these Mercenaries may have to face off each other.

What about a Guild?

Guild: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Guild?s=t
The biggest & most important standard for the United Nations Mercenary Guild should be why they were created in the first place: to mop up & dismantle any dangers & threats in the aftermaths of the Second World War.
There should also be two separate sets of rules for those who do the missions & for those who hand out the missions. The mission doers must rely on their own strengths more than the strength of their allies & their equipment; in other words they can't take and/or confiscate a tank to take out a car.
When a member of the United Nations submits a mission/assignment it must get a yes from one of these two questions: #1: Is [TARGET] your [PROPERTY or CITIZEN]? #2: Is [TARGET] in your [JURISDICTION]? If they are both nos then there has to be sufficient evidence that [TARGET] is an International Threat.
